 I've spent the last twenty minutes calculating the time in Romania. If my approximations are correct it's around 1 pm. Above, you can see my tired face. This week I did a traveling marathon and right now I'm jet lagged and caught a minor flu but all in all this is turning out to be a great adventure.

So that you see that I'm not drama queening without reason here is my itinerary for this last days: by plane: Bucharest - Oradea, by car: Oradea - Arad, Arad- Oradea- Cluj, by plane again: Cluj - Bucharest, Bucharest - Amsterdam, Amsterdam- Mexico city (12 hours, I died)

See? It's exhausting I tell you! But it was nice seeing Amsterdam again. The architecture and the always peaceful little streets always have such a relaxing effect on me.

One of my biggest social pleasures is discovering beautiful places. From chic cafe's (although I'm not a coffee fan) to fancy restaurants and belle epoque tea shops.

Have you ever entered a place and instantly wowed?

Each time I do that I feel like finding a hidden treasure. And it is sort of like that because beautiful places are filled with good vibes. They make you marvel at their decorations, enjoy the menu, their staff is smiling and suddenly you feel like you've arrived on an enchanted realm.

As I told you above, I'm not a coffee lover, I'm a gin tonic lover instead. And when I'm not gin tonic-ing I go for tea. Fancy, cool, weird named tea.

"Camera din fata" (Mendeleev, 22) is a new tea/coffee shop that worths visiting. In today's pictures you can see some details from it. What I love the most is that this tea shop has it's own belle epoque story, along with delicious home made cakes and dozens of bio and organic tea types.





You know that I'm not a trend follower but this season I fell in love with velvet (a major trend).  My favorite velvet colors are emerald green, burgundy and the plum you see on the Lena Criveanu dress I'm wearing today. I paired it with statement gold pieces like this vintage necklace and ADR for H&M twin bracelets (my style signature)

Well, I did. Although I'm not a big fan of these holidays (yes, I know that you know cause I've told you a trillion times) I love making this list every year. Another gift that made me smile and somehow come to better feelings when it comes to snow is the gift I received from AVON

I loved their attention to details, all their cosmetics were red colored, exactly like my lipstick and my nail polish always is. And when I say that through it I've come to better feelings regarding the snow it is because it's wrapping was a muffler, a hat and mittens. The coolest ones.

It's the little things that matter - such a cliche and such a wise life lesson if we choose to follow it.

It was confirmed to me that they (the little things - focus people, focus) matter deeply and that how you treat others is how you will be treated.

I started thinking of this saying after I had the pleasure of meeting Malvina the other days.



She is authentically such a warm and caring person, one of those rare beings that fill up you day with positive energy only with their smile and good vibes.

We talked a lot about her view about life, her principles and beliefs and you know what? At the end of our lunch, after we said goodbye and I left, I surprised myself smiling.
That's the effect Malvina has on people, because my opinion about her is not singular.

 Darlings, this is the final point of  the Peroni Collabrazioni d'Inverno project - the after ski party for which all three teams had to design a versatile and elegant piece of clothing.

This project will always remain close to my heart because I got the chance to meet inspiring people and professional teams. We had fun, learned how complex the designing process is and how much work it implies.

I send all my admiration towards the other two teams, Irina Markovits &Nadia Popescu and Claudiu Enescu & Dan Mihai Zarug. They did a great job. You know, at the party, many of you asked me who won. This was not a competition, all three teams had to design a versatile object, that could be practical when skying and glamorous at after ski party and which also embodies the Italian's passion for quality and elegance.

The Peroni Collaborazioni after ski party was as elegant as the place where it was held - The Fratelli Expresso bar.

Below you can see some of my dearest moments from that night.





Kinga Varga, the designer I've teamed up with is a warm and gentle person, we share a common vision about this project and I'm glad that our design turned out exactly how I dreamed it. A glamorous long dress that can be used as a scarf too. We focused on a creamy color, very feminine and delicate with silver touches for that zip of glamour. The dress was entirely knitted, this being Kinga's designer particularity.
