I need an assistant! Now! I'm not joking but since it's Friday I'm not gonna fill your head with this today. Next week however, be prepared.
Dear readers,
My Snobbish Advice this week is....take Xanax.
Ok, that's a joke. It's jookkee, stop running to the drugstore.
No, no, my advice it's not about Xanax but about another little, guilty pleasure - cocktails. Better yet, cocktails drank in the middle of the day.
Please read carefully
I didn't said get drunk in the middle of the day, but when you feel stressed and need a little break, yes, you should run to the sea or at the pool, take a swim and enjoy a cocktail.
I know that my last Snobbish Advices are about letting it loose and enjoy relaxing moments. Coming back to what I said at the beginning of the post...I NEED AN ASSISTANT.
My Snobbish Advice this week, certified and verified, is have a small cocktail (or many) in the middle of the day. It will help you smile and let go. And if you get drunk, well, that's the other part of the story. Alka-Seltzer, anti hungover medicine.
Don't forget about the I AM CIUDAT collar you can win.
Au revoir, kittens.

Snow White. The pure and kind Snow White... We all know her story. We all dreamed of being in her shoes and be rescued by the handsome prince.
Well, since I'm special (not) I always dreamed to having lots of dwarfs to take care of me and do my hair. I love witches and blue, red and white as an outfit combination are not my fav colors.
But you know how I love to rewrite a good, old fairytale. And finding this wonderful world of cuteness shop was the right way to do it. Me, being dressed like a glam witch in that same moment was a God's gift. Ha!
We had tremendous fun.
We had tremendous fun.
Anyways, moving on.
I'm sure you people remember Gabriela Vlad. The initiator of all things cool in Bucharest. The first who made a vintage fair here. It was called "My Grandma's Backyard", remember?
She set the standard for all things urban cultural and I love her warrior spirit. She is not the "let's play the nice and polite PR shit", she's straight forward and very, very fashionable. Well, again, not the cute fashion shit. Pour les connoisseurs mes amis, pour les connoisseurs...
Now, she has a brand of creative accessories called "I am CIUDAT" and her collars are out of this world (I am in loveeee!)
Because she lives in Italy she wants you to know that she did not forget about you are her mission to make you fashionable in the right way. That's why she is giving away an amazingly romantic collar to you guys.
Here's what you have to do:
- LIKE and SHARE the I am CIUDAT album on Facebook
- Follow High Street Cardigans with Google Friend Connect
- Follow High Street Cardigans with Instagram (if you have it)
And tell us in a comment you contacts and with what would you wear it.
Two weeks from now, it can be yours!
See? I make you gifts! Told you it's cool when an evil witch loves you.

M12 blouse, Rhea Costa necklace - shop them on MOLECULE F, Romanian traditional skirt
Thank you Serban for helping me immortalize this outfit and those moments.
Well hello,
It is said that today is Monday. I wouldn't know that cause for the past four days I lived in places where time has a different notion.
I told you a few weeks ago, that I started visiting some castles and palaces around our country. I'm still doing that and my city breaks are becoming longer each time.
I'm cooking, walking, reading, wowing at Castles, wowing when hearing their stories and meeting people who smile sincerely.
It's still Moday, so it's MORODAN day on Molecule F
I loved this M12 blouse paired with this statement necklace from Rhea Costa. Two faces of the same romanticism.
You can find them on Molecule F
I'm very proud of my skirt. I bought it from Sibiu, from an old lady who sells authentic Romanian outfits and it's typical for the popular outfits worn in this area of our country.
I have to go now and pick some grapes from the garden, dressed in Dior.
Au Revoir.
The last part it's a joooke, stop being outraged.

Bonjour,
Another week is ending. I hope it was a productive one for you. What are you going to do this weekend?
I plan to go see some Russian movies in an open air cinema and shop some vintage pieces of furniture for the new home.
Leaving that on a side, you know Fridays are the Snobbish Advice days, except if it's my saving the world day (yes, what you've heard it's true, I'm a superhero on some weekdays).
Ok, let' hurry cause I have to pack and get out of this city so that I can see movies in the garden and shop for those amazing and totally useless furniture pieces, as I told you.
Dearests,
My Snobbish Advice today is: buy a t shirt that makes a statement.
Yes, it's true, I don't like printed t shirts buy I do consider Noemi's "Book Cover Tees" tres, tres chic.
Their Book Cover Tee is inspired from Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides. I loved the book and I love them so I left my jaundices regarding printed t shirts aside and invested in a story telling clothing item.
Why I said story telling item?
You can find their t shirt at Anthony Frost, Bastilia and Carturesti libraries. Hurry up and buy them before they get sold out.
Arrivederci

Dear people who have nothing better to do than read my stupid craziness,
I am writing to inform you that I'm still mentally sane and all, though I know some of you hate that, I'm happy and quite nice and polite (twice a week).
I was at sea this weekend. At a beach that made a big fuss when it opened. Well, it does look some sort of chic decorated, I have to give them that, but the people...hm....not a very smart and educated fauna, I might say.
Anyways, moving on with our daily agenda, the outfit topic - I worn this amazing and decadent skirt by Parlor. It was out of this world.
You know, wearing this skirt made me realize that to the person who I am now, smarter than I was a few years ago, I hope, it's not important to be liked by everyone. On the contrary, I wanna be loved only by the people whom I admire and appreciate and with whom I share the same values, even the aesthetic ones. So maybe you tend to think that I've lost my mind or that I don't care about you people anymore ( you = the ones who read my daily stupidity published for posterity). Not the case. But I like to think that if you are here, it's because you share the same thoughts, issues and emotions like I do and if this is the case you know that I never mislead you and I was always fair regarding my nature.
Now, it's only fair for me to say that I've grown up and that means I've grown up aesthetically too. Dark was always my pink and sadly, because this means that I'm getting old, I'm a woman now. And I feel confident, strong and feminine. It's only natural to move to another level.
So don't be scared, it's still me, the upgraded version.
Check If it's Monday, it's MORODAN day on MOLECULE F and maybe, if you have time between the constant womanly winning (I love to wine!!! I suspect my boyfriend for wanting to dump me because of that) to try that "confidence and strongness" shit.
Don't waste your time being frustrated about yourself. You will wake up one day and realize that you were awesome and never realized that. And maybe it will be too late.
Goodbye kittens and welcome to the new era.
.
Did you experienced that moment in your life when you just wanna lay down and die, exhausted?
Well, if you are a control freak in your professional life, like I am, I'm sure you did.
Since the past few days have been not so jolly regarding my health I decided to take a rest. Better yet, on Friday night (last Friday ofc), I think it was about 10 pm, I was in a supermarket (met with Emanuel by accident) thinking what would be "the Snobbish Advice" in this situation.
After 3 minutes and 18 seconds it finally hit me. Well, literally not me, Serban said it but I agreed that it's the snobbish thing to do.
And we did it. After 6 hours we were in the airport, on our way to a city break.
You know by now that I don't post often pictures from the places I visit. I kinda of not want to take my camera with me there, it's big and heavy for a little person like me and honestly, I want my memories to be filled with the whole experience and to keep it in my heart and mind. Being the little, frantic tourist never worked for me.
Anyways, moving on, guys, I think this will make a good Snobbish Advice this week.
If you don't have time for a full vacation, I don't know, 7 days or more, try a city break. After 3 days away you'll come back fully energized and positive. Even if you have to spend almost half of it by phone, coordinating things in your professional life, yep, that was me.
I loved Istanbul, with it's perfect mix of oriental and occidental architecture. It's last floor terraces and amazing sea views. Amazingly polite people and breath taking cuisine. Out of this world jewelry and lavender ice cream. But the most important of all, I loved Istanbul for the role it had in our history! It has the most amazing true stories to tell you, so leave it all be and go and listen to them!
On the other hand, I am profoundly attached of my Andra Andreescu dress. I wore it day in and day out for the last past weeks and I think I'm gonna do that from now on too. It's the perfect combination of femininity and casual moods.
Andra is a rising star designer of which you will hear about more, soon. Dedication, creativity, glamour, smartness, she has them all,so be prepared to be amazed.
I'm off to style a shooting now, I hope you guys are all well and tolerant (yep, that's a big must have nowadays). Take care of you and the people you really what around you. At the end of the day, being satisfied and in peace with who you are and with your life means everything.
Okkk, I'm off basing again no? Yes, I do. I'm gonna stop now.
My friend's cat died last night, I think I'm still affected because of that. She cried so much and all that sadness in her eyes made me sad too. And when I'm sad I think too much. There, now you know the mind connections of how I got to the reflections pointed above.
Autumn is coming. Thank you Goodddd!
Ahh, all that melancholy, can't wait!
Au revoir,
Ana
Here are some of the pics I took in a day there. The next days I left my phone and camera at the hotel. Some things should remain only in our minds don't you think?

I remember it like it was yesterday, the night it all went down.
Celia was in her garden talking with M, Eva sitting next to me, facebooking on her phone, Robyn flirting with all the girls at the party and I was sort of overdosing on gin and tonics. The night before was still present in my mind.
I head towards M and Celia. As I get closer I can hear what they are talking about.
- I don't want things to get out of hand!
- I know, I don't want that too but we should expect it will get out in the press. We have to do some damage control, some of them will fall without being guilty.
- I don't care, I cannot be responsible for this, maybe we should let Eva take the fall. She is an aristocrat anyways and she's an emotional wreck, everybody knows that, it won't be that much of a fuss, another scandal, she is used to causing them. Celia bursted.
- No, you can't let her take the fall for something like this, she will be ruined and after all, this is our fault, all of us! I shout at her.
- Celia I don't agree with this. Ana is right, it's all our fault, we can't let her take the fall for this alone. Don't push it!
M turns around and leaves.
- I'm not gonna be involved in this! Celia says to me, desperately.
- Celia, you caused it, yes, it's true, we all agreed but you started it!
I'm gonna rip hear head off.
- Celia, if you do this to Eva I'm not gonna back you up this time, be sure of that. I'm getting back to the party.
...
That was the moment when everything started to fall to pieces. Our world started to seem more like a goth Melrose Place and we began to look like old, broken dolls who constantly fight to eat the candy.
We needed a year to let all her intrigues and schemes die down. A year in which we all agreed to keep the silence.
Celia took the blame for that dreadful event, was forced to get out of town and we thought that things will go back to normal.
I started paying more attention to my professional life, Eva stopped partying and drinking that much, Robyn made peace with his grandmother, M went to Toscana for the summer and all of us stayed strays for a few moths.
But now, a new season begins, with new parties, gossips, intrigues and most of all, with all of us in one place, this apparently big city. Celia is not dumb. I finally realized now, she wants to start the same chain of events she did when that dreadful night took place. That's why she's hosting this party at midnight, that's why it takes place at her chateau and most of all, that's why she sent Robyn to Eva and me with the same dress!
She hates me because I left her and took Eva's side, she hates M for destroying her credibility, Robyn began to be her puppy after we "broke up" - which reminds me, how did that happen? - and everybody else might easily be her minions too.
This passed through my mind in the last 7 minutes...I'm still at the bistro, I just sipped another gin tonic.
- You are too glamorous for this time of day.
I turn my head and there he was. Looking like the whole world was in his hand. Freshly back for an expedition in Kenya - the born to be wild spirit and my fiance, Toma.
.
I am on a city break people so we'll talk more when I get back.
Until then, here are my exhausted day pics from "It's not Monday, it's MORODAN day on Molecule F"
You know, those of you who get to talk or meet me, know that the phrase "I'm on a chaos" defines best my daily life. Well, I finally got myself exhausted and fainted the other days. Therefore, I was forced to spend a day in bed.
I was brought dvd movies and books, sweets and cakes, Supradyn and little gifts (it really payed off being sick). I got the chance to act like a manical diva.
The blouse you see me wearing is Parlor, a brand which I'm profoundly found of because every time I wear something created by Veronica I feel like a '50's divette.
For more details about my exhausted day and the glamourously Parlor blouse check Molecule F's blog
and shop this blouse on Molecule F
Now, leave me alone cause I have to relax!
Do you want me to die, huh? Do you?
Okkk, don't answer that!

Thank you!
Hello people,
It's finally Friday! Full of adventures but very busy week. I'm glad it's finally coming to an end. You'll see what I'm talking about soon but until then, let's think about some new activities that can make us feel good about ourselves.
Here's what the Urban Dictionary define "brunch":
contraction of breakfast and lunch, usually
occurring around the hour of 11 a.m. Typically reserved for snobs and
biddies who like tea and jam.
| ||
| Great! I'm not a 100% authentical snob cause I sure don't act in a certain way just because someone else think it's cool. If I think it's cool and how do I get to that conclusion, well, that's another matter and the only one that should matter (ahh, nice word game, I'm so proud...my three minutes of smartness!). | |||
Anyways, getting back to the main focus of today's "words of wisdom", snobbish activity or not, I love brunches!
I love meeting my friends in the afternoon, eating some good food and chatting about the things that happened to us, movies we saw or what we discovered new on the internet, since we last saw each other.
I always walk my way there. These being the only moments when I don't use my car (I'm addicted to it).
My favorite places for this kind of activities are Osho, Rue du pain, La Cantine de Nicolai and Hilton's restaurant. But since we're living in Bucharest, you can find many other nice and inspiring places that will make your eating and socializing experience a more pleasant and movie like one.
I got this Adrian Oianu dress you see in the pictures, a few weeks ago. I'm madly in love with it! Comfy clothes always had a special place in my heart and cotton is one of my favorite materials so this dress just become my number one, daily choice.
And the letter I found inside the package made me smile. Nice marketing people, nice marketing!
Thank you!
That's it for today people, I'm out of "smart" things to say.
Now, let's all hold hands and prey for rain!
