Remember last week? I'm starting to think there's some kind of magic involved!

Snobbish Breakfast dress, vintage and I Became Addicted jewelry

This is an important announcement!

- as from this morning I'm officially in my first day of vacation. There is a God!

As you can see I had some sort of Snobbish Breakfast, literally.
Funny thing when someone meets me for the first time and gets to spend time with me, after 2 weeks (this being the average time, I know, I did statistics) they all ask the same question: Why don't you wear pants?

-Because I feel ME in skirts and dresses.

I told you before that I own only a few pairs of jeans these being my favs. Actually two at the moment. But if I must say what kind of jeans/pants I love the most, I would easily and without a doubt choose the "boyfriend" jeans, the secret to buying really cool and authentic ones is... read more.

By the time you'll read this I will be singing along with my childhood Sandra cd, in the car, on my way to Arad. I never would have thought that I will come to miss that little city (but I still love it here best!).

p.s. D, I'm bringing you flowers!

Zara shoes, Asos short pants, boyfriend's (can't remember which one) blouse, H&M, The Trend Boutique and Meli Melo bracelets, Topshop ring

If you ever had short hair and at one point and wanted to grow it then this post is about you.

For as long as I can remember I had short hair. I was a little tomboy at kindergarten, Twiggy at elementary and a mixture between Audrey and Tavi in high school. Then, for a looonggg time, I had some weird hairdo that became my label (you can see it on the blog too cause the obsession lasted til the beginning of this year).

One evening, seven months ago, I took the scissors and decided to end it. Some damage control was in order after... the mess is visible until this very day.

But now, I'm older and "wiser", so I must celebrate this with a new resolution regarding my hair...I'M GONNA LET IT GROW. Although I still think that short haired girls are more mysterious and special and bla, bla, bla, I'm gonna have long hair, it's settled!

But since I'm not Samantha, this activity takes time, dedication and special tools(= hair straighteners, cause besides being short, my hair has a messy way of growing, naturally!). I'm at my forth ghd now.

Stop thinking that I damage my hair with ghd's. I'm not! Cause I buy only the certified ones.  Online ofc (told you my drama that I don't have free time anymore).

Last week when I visited their shop, an awesome, visual surprise waited for me...they choose Kathy Perry to be their global face for ghd and the new limited edition Iconic Eras straighteners.
Wanna know what I like best when it comes to Katy? That she does not takes herself too seriously all the time. As you may probably know by now, I love this kind of people.

So the saga continues, wish me luck. Cause what I didn't told you is that I have this urge of growing my hair long every year. I never have the nerves to wait though...

Because it's Monday, and we all kinda hate Mondays, I thought it would be a great opportunity to make you smile a little.

I already told you that I mostly shop online lately. Well, through my searches I found an awesome online shop. It's called ORIENT and there you can find all kinds of cool watches, especially watches for men. I'm telling you this because lately, women wear men watches too, at least this is the trend.

Well, the guys at ORIENT  decided to give away a watch to one of you! :x

Here's what you have to do:

- kiss someone you love

- say "thank you" and "forgive me" more often

- follow High Street Cardigans with Google Friend Connect or Bloglovin

- tell me in a comment what kind of watch would you like to wear, a lady like one or a more manly model?

I picked this one for you. I hope you heart it.
The winner will be sort out randomly next Monday.
Goooddd luckkk and start the week smiling!

One last thing...I want to show you something before I go.

 HERE IT ISSSS!!! Look down!

This is my present! I got it from Gabriella, who is an illustrator and a designer. You can find more about her on  The Fashion Crayon.

Your life seems pretty cool and glittery...how much of it is real and how much of it is PR strategy?

My life is wonderful! You can come and live with me to be certain of it. But as I said  many times, it's not different than your lives. I just choose to see it differently and think positive and smile, be authentic and realize that life consists of little pieces, like rain, water, good food, little deco objects found on a flea market and so on.

We often hear "Life is wonderful", it really is but it has nothing to do with tons of money. Ohhh and also I don't take myself too seriously all the time, this being a very important factor!

It takes time and dedication to convince yourself of those things, but once you do it, you will understand that life is all around you, not only in Zara(ok, I know, I'm speaking for myself).

p.s. Did you see the little visitor? We couldn't get rid of the little intruder. Murphy's world I tell you.

p.s. nr. 2 I LOVE THIS BUILDING

When we get really bored, you know, that moment when you have no gossip left to share, you have eaten all the junk food in the house and the only thing left on the table is a bottle of champagne, Adina and me, we're practical girls, we find solutions really easliy (most of the time are really dumb ones).

This was one of them (not of the dumb ones!).

We made some Snobbish Breakfast dresses  just for fun and to feel that awesome feeling when we try them on. Yes, I know what you are thinking, YES, we have our own Snobbish Breakfast dresses too.

Glamography.ro was once again our number one choice. Why? Because Cristi and Dan are able to make fun of us running on the streets to catch the last shadow of sun and be extremely nice and polite in the same time.

And Adriana...well, if you still can't believe that she portrays the perfect Snobbish spirit, then you really have to look at the pics once again :)

- Fine, I'm building a fence around my heart...in someone else's bed, on a Sunday morning.

But let's move on to the next questions and ignore the matter.

  • Do you  have a rich boyfriend/parent? Who gives you money to buy all this clothes?

I started by cleaning my father's atelier when I was thirteen years old (and spent my summer salary on a single necklace-my mother was mortified) since then I always mixed school with all sorts of jobs. I'm pretty independent and I have problems accepting gifts, so the answer is neither- I buy them myself.

Side note: Relax, I don't earn more than you guys do, I'm just immature and spend them on all kinds of useless stuff, after that I have nothing left to pay my bills. I always was a little  Becky (some of my friends say I'm a bigger one)

Bottom line: It might sound pretty antinomian- I'm  responsible when it comes to earning my own money  but when it comes to spending them...well, you get the point.

next question on the next post (no, it won't last the whole year)

We finally shoot the new Snobbish Breakfast dresses. Can't wait to show them to you.

We worked with  Glamography again because Cristi and Dan are our heroes.
Why? because they stand and love us as we are(unorganized, hectic, stressed, bitchy and so on).

The beautiful and smart Gabi Sofia Volociuc (don't you think Sofia is such an amazing name?) from the The No Name Fashion Blog  came to visit us and made our day by writing an article about us on her blog <3.
