For example, take this situation. I moved to Bucharest and stayed in the same building as Catalin and his beautiful girlfriend Nadina.
Didn't knew who they were until I moved out from that building.

I marveled for half an hour, along with other lifestyle and fashion photography lovers from my office (who were successfully brought on this "dark side" of hedonist life by yours truly )
Ofc that the next step came naturally...I googled Catalin Opritescu !
So I found out that he is one of VIVA's fav photographers, that the beautiful Nadina Campean is his girlfriend and that one of his passions is street style photography.

Some glimpses from the flower exposition I told you about on Friday, at Carol Parc Hotel.
It was indeed a magical event, lots of people, all sorts of beautiful flowers, and the magical dresses that were displayed there.
Snobbish Breakfast was one of the lables invited to display a dress at this event and we were truly honored for being asked to.
I really don't think I should bore you with words, the pictures speak for themselves. :)
Ohh, you don't know who is Catalin, do you? I'll tell you next time, believe me, you wanna know who he is. Actually, everybody wants to know who is he these days!

After all, what more can you desire than a sunny day, an ice tea (for those of you who are not dieting, no it's not for the silhouette!) and a beautiful afternoon sourrounded by flowers.
Where? At Carol Parc Hotel ofc. Did you know that Carol Parc Hotel was before being Carol Parc Hotel , a castle?!? (I've melted instantlly when I heard that).
When they asked us to be a part of this event we said yes, ofc.
So I hope to see you there, Adina went on a little vacation, but it's ok, I love her, and I'm planning to go to some festivals in the summer so I can blackmail her with this ;). So, she will be live streaming, of Facebooking or something with us from there.

Best Flower 2011 onoreaza talentul si creativitatea designerilor floristi din Romania, iar in acest an are o tema care va incanta publicul si va starni creativitatea designerilor floristi: „FASHION AND FLOWERS”, acestia urmand sa expuna in categoria „Profesionisti” in 3 Sectiuni clasice: Buchet de mireasa, Compozitii florale si Aranjamente pentru interior. Sectiunea Buchete de Mireasa va purta in editia aceasta numele The ONE AND ONLY, revista THE ONE fiind “patronul” din acest an al acestei Sectiuni. Revista, prin intermediul ANDREEI ESCA, va acorda propriul sau premiu - Premiul SPECIAL THE ONE AND ONLY BOUCHET. Vor mai fi acordate premii de catre revistele VILLA DESIGN si CONFORT MAGAZIN, precum si alte premii speciale, printre care Premiul Special CALLESSENTAILLY Romania (constand intr-un contract de colaborare pe durata unui an) si Premiul Special CHALLENGE by Dana Savuica.
La BEST FLOWER 2011 vor participa designeri floristi consacrati, ateliere de creatie florala aflate la inceput de drum, dar si amatorii si pasionatii de design floral. Designerii si creatorii de moda vor fi si ei parte integranta a evenimentului, acestia expunand lucrari care interpreteaza tema FLORALA in maniera proprie. Vor putea fi admirate creatii semnate de Rita Muresan, Catalin Botezatu, Mirela Diaconu, Kinga Varga, Clara Rotescu, LKIT, Snobbish Breakfast.
Continuand traditia colaborarii cu celebrul atelier de creatie si design floral LIFE 3, anul acesta este invitat sa fie Presedintele Juriului – Per Benjamin, maestru florist scandinav, multipremiat campion international si apreciat membru in juriile de specialitate. Acesta va sustine pentru prima oara in Romania o prelegere in cadrul BEST FLOWER pe 21 Mai, incepand cu ora 10.00: „The NATURAL COLOR SYSTEM acording to PER BENJAMIN”, despre propriul si celebrul sau COLOR SISTEM, care i-a adus reputatia si recunoasterea internationala. Alaturi de el vor fi membri ai juriului: Andreea Esca, Rebecca Walter, Dana Savuica, Prof. Dan Vucicovici (Catedra Cromatica-Forma-Design a Universitatii de Arhitectura Ion Mincu din Bucuresti), Sylvia Schlie Petre (proprietara Carol Parc Hotel) si Teofil Molcut (FLORIST’S ONLY).
PER BENJAMIN s-a nascut la Stockholm in 1970 si incepe sa lucreze cu florile de la 18 ani. A participat la numeroase competitii nationale si internationale si a castigat peste 10 medalii. Din 1997 este profesor la Academia Florala din Stockholm, iar din 1998 si-a infiintat compania Benjamins Botaniska. Jurizeaza concursuri internationale, ajungand in diferite parti ale lumii: Japonia, Australia, SUA, Brazilia, Mexic, China, India, Singapore etc. Alaturi de maestrii floristi Tomas de Bruyne (presedintele juriului la precedenta editie BEST FLOWER 2011) si Max Van Der Sluis infiinteaza celebra companie Life 3. Publica articole si carti si este creatorul celebrului Natural Colour System, care i-a adus reputatia si celebritatea internationala.
Elementul de noutate al evenimentului este reprezentat de sectiunea HOBBY, in cadrul careia amatorii si pasionatii de design floral vor putea participa cu creatii proprii in expozitie. Vor expune in sectiunea HOBBY: Sanda Lazur, Stefania Mircea, Daniela Soros, Andreea Minuta, Liliana Ionica, Mihaela Gunta, Carmen Lazar, Doinita Culea, Manuela Oancea, Andreea Brinzoiu.
Tot pentru prima data, designerii participanti vor putea juriza lucrarile colegilor lor sau ai amatorilor din sectiunea Hobby, urmand ca lucrarea castigatoare sa primeasca PREMIUL SPECIAL AL DESIGNERILOR FLORISTI. Dorim ca aceasta distinctie sa devina la fel de ravnita de catre profesionistii din domeniu ca si Premiul Juriului BEST FLOWER.
Expozitia va fi deschisa gratuit publicului in zilele de 21 si 22 mai, intre orele 10:00 si 20:00. Duminica, 22 mai incepand cu ora 12:00 vor putea participa la un Atelier de Design Floral.

I saw this print in a post on Irina's blog or her Facebook page a year ago. I shared it on my Facebook and save it on my laptop dreaming of the day when I'll print it.
Don't you think it's absolutely adorable? When I enter my house this is the first thing I see and it makes me feel somehow safe.
And because I'm still a little bit shopaholic (on the verge of recovery, I must add) I've chosen several people that are somehow important to me and gave each one of them a copy of this print. Some of them got it because they are close to my heart, and some of them got it because they need to see that beauty and kindness still exist.
So thank you Irina for sharing this with us.
