Steve Madden shoes, the marvelous tights Delia got for me, vintage and Mango bracelets Pics by Flavius Veliciu
I don't know about you people but I was so not into Halloween this year!
Now, you can see that in the pics I'm smiling and make lots of funny faces. That's because these pics where actually taken on Friday, when I was with F to buy some pumpkins for my nephew.
And it was a lovely afternoon indeed, we laughed, joked and decided what costume to wear the next day.
The only difference was that we kinda partied hard Friday night so on Saturday we where like zombies the whole day, didn't need to wear any costume:).
And Eric (my nephew) waited and waited for me to go and chop the pumpkins with him, cause we have this cool relationship, where we live in a fairytale and I always get to be saved by him and after that we make up the next chapter of the story and so on.
If he only knew that I was at home, on the floor with my head spinning and feeling like I was on a roller coaster the night before. I told him that I have to go at the office:(.
Maybe it will be a good idea for me to grow-up someday soon?!?! Nahhh I love being me, with all the craziness and all the idiotic conversations and all the insanely irresponsible weekends ;).
So it's a fact...I went at a Halloween party, stayed for exactly 30 minutes, then ran home to bed. What did you guys do?
And I told Eric the truth on Sunday.
He said, and allow me to quote : " Ohhh Ana you'll never find Prince Charming if you're acting like a villain". ...hmmm who made you that smart??!?

I'm gonna tell you a dirty little fashion secret of mine. I mean, I know you will crucify me after telling you this but I just feel the need to be honest with you people.
So here it is...I sometimes wear UGG boots! Ok, you can stop with the horror now:).
Why and when do I wear them?
Because I'm a heel person and I can take some serious bruises just to walk in high-heels, sometimes I just want to feel comfy when I go at the market, or to buy some flowers or run some errands or most important just feel warm. That are the times when I search for them in the back of the shoe closet.
Yeah, I love fashion but I'm not a fashion victim(I think), so maybe these type of boots are not the most fashionable shoes but then again their purpose is to be practical no?
This being said let me tell another important detail of this story.
This week I was getting ready to go with my nephew to the glass house to buy some pumpkins for Halloween. Obviously I'm getting dressed in some baggy pants and some old shirt and instinctively reached for my UGG's and saw that one of them was all ragged...instantly I looked at Super (the cat), he had that guilty look!!! OMG:(((((( what I'm going to do now, I mean I secretly loved the petrified look of all the fashionsta girls that consider every glossy magazine the bible, when they saw me in them. Now I'm gonna buy groceries in high-heels?!?!?
But no need to panic, the universe helped me again;). Why? Because lately I'm trying to stay positive and also because I found this site. Check it out, they explain you exactly how those boots are made and why they are useful, and guess what? If you subscribe to their news letter you can win a pair of these comfy boots every month:).
Ohhh and I have one more interesting news for you...the guys at Whooga.co.uk where so cool and they made an exclusive discount just for you, which will give you 10% off for the next week. All you have to do is enter this code : 683HSTREET.
So, if you are like me and like the practical part of these boots, just chill, don't feel that pressure that you are being watched or judged, just be who you are, be authentic, don't live and think according to others. It's your life and if you want to spend it in ugg's DO THAT :).

The best lies are covered with half-truths.
Scientists say that everybody lies, and more often it's because we think it makes our lives easier, that society has conditioned us to shade the truth.
So we do it all the time. Various studies show at least a fourth of our daily interactions with others involve lying, usually about something rather minor. Most often, we lie to avoid conflict, or to spare someone else's feelings.
If all of this is true I cannot help but wonder why some of us just can't admit when they tell a lie but instead point the finger every time they think somebody lies to them?
And no, this topic is not caused by the fact that in the last days I was a couch potato and watched Lie To Me ;).
BTW: Alina inspired me to wear this pair of tights. Because she's obviously creative and so extremely cool she put together this hip outfit and saved my day ;)

DO you have a special place in the world?
Cause I have one...and surprisingly is not NY or Paris, or some fancy concept store.
Ok , ok chill, I'm not that hypocrite, of course I LOVEEEE those places too, I'm madly in love with them actually, but there is a single place in the whole wide world that gives me peace and serenity.
To that place I dragged F this weekend, he loved it too:).
Here is a paparazzi pic I took of him.
To all the girls that like him(cause I know there are many!!!) he's available, so facebook him ;).

ahhh check Shopping News ;).
Die Monday, die!!! bleacssss

H&M t shirt, Zara cardigan, H&M hat, NY fur collar Photos by Cornelia Gaie
Love the animal print fur collar, it's among the few trends I like this autumn.
When I saw a picture of Taylor Tomasi ( I would have posted it if I wasn't such an unorganized idiotic little person and lost it!) I frantically started looking for one, soooo here it is ;).
Make sure to check ShoppingNews.ro . If you still haven't heard of it, well, there's something wrong with your news feed;). You will find interesting news and tips related to shopping. It's like your personal cool hunter. Personally I think it's the best of its kind.
When Paula Negrea (the editor in chief ) asked me to write a weekly column about my shopping experiences in Arad I was super excited. Here's the first article.
BTW Delia: I'M SO IN LOVE WITH THIS PRINT;).
I feel that I must tell you something else too but I can't remember...Goooddd I'm such a queer customer, and I have to run, Cip is waiting and he's mad!!! he will so kill me for being late...again.

Updates:
Yes, I will continue to write in a "list" manner. You should know that I'm a big list person.
1. I finally managed to use my camera tripod. And used it to make some goofy pics while I was dancing on some catchy song .
2. Decided to quit smoking...bad bad decision!!! I kid I kid , God help me.
Now, let me tell you how I started my Saturday:
The phone rang, like 374 times. Got up , my head spinning and went to open the door. It was an errand boy, who brought me the cutest package, from...from...NY, actually it was from Delia, who brought it from NY for me :x.
You should know a few things about Delia...she was the first person to order a Snobbish Breakfast dress, actually two. On top of that she wore a Snobbish Breakfast dress to her best friend NY wedding! (proofs and all), I was so prrrouddddd:).
Last month Delia ordered another item from the collection, occasion with which I had the pleasure to meet her because I was in Bucharest. She's the living proof of the modern woman: active, successfully self-employed , with a stylish designed house, a super cool kid and the perfect husband. And above all, she is extremely beautiful. Now, if I think closely, she reminds me of the SATC girls.
Well, we both love NY, the small difference: Delia goes there like two times/year or when she wants , to put it this way and well. I DON'T. Last week she just got back and brought me a few gifts (how cool is that???).
So let's rewind, took the little package and run up the stairs super excited. When I opened the box I almost fainted of excitement. There it was...the perfect pair of perforated nylons...instant and absolute love. And just to be more dreamy she bought me a bottle of neon orange nail polish (because she was smart enough to notice that it's my obsessive color) and the cutest H&M accessories. So believe me when I tell you that if the biggest girl drama was to happen it wouldn't have matter, my Saturday was perfect!
I love her, she was so selflessly sweet and friendly and totally won my heart. And I secretly wish her son was older;).
You can see the tights in the pics, of course that I instantly tried them on. Aren't they so uber cool? Cause I so think they are.
3. Dear Anonymous :
Thank you for the lovely comment and best of luck with the Cosmo thing:), well, we synced perfectly. You said you want to see more pics of my house and Super and I've just made some pics inside, so I hope you like them. Did also some close-ups, just for you:). Thank you for the lovely comment and who knows maybe next time you will leave your id too so we could know each other. Again, best of luck, fingers crossed.
a
Ohhh and I got the perfect Halloween cookie from Delia too ;), btw did you knew she has a hobby site? You should check it out, it's much more useful than this one:).

I finally had the time to organize my folders. Here's what I've found among lots of useless stuff.
Thank you to the super cool girls at Bucharest style for the interview , make sure to check their blog if you want to see what's happening on the fash scene in Bucharest.
Someone asked about the ring from the last post...it's from a dear friend of mine, Arina,
and I think she bought it from Meli Melo.
Now I'm gonna run home and study ,
and also have a tea
and burn some coconut scent
and try some new clothes that I've bought yesterday
and bring a tailor dummy inside and dress it with a black Snobbish Breakfast dress and a statement necklace
and read some glossy mags
and drink some wine
and rearrange my inspirational board
and decide what to keep and what to throw from my closet
and listen to Jewel (flimsy I know, but sometimes I just feel the urge to do that)
and try not to go completely mad
and convince myself that from now on I can eat only raw food
and stop dreaming about bakery products
and add some new targets on my bucket list
and stare at my new received autumn flowers bouquet (thank you ;)
and thank God for Super(the cat)
and do all the usual stupid stuff that I do and that are so ME
SO what about you guys? what are you gonna do this weekend?
I hope you don't forget to just take a moment and look outside...it's a perfect autumn people :)
ohhh I almost forgot, I have to do one more thing...DREAM ;)
